   What's a realistic daily budget for Paris and London (not including hotels)? Is London really that much more expensive than Paris???

   London is way more expensive than Paris. Look at the hostel prices -- they're like twice as much. Food, drink, even transportation is way, way more expensive in London. It can cost over $5 to ride the tube in London, while Paris is like $2.50. A drink in London can hardly be found for under $10, while in Paris it will cost about $5 for a beer.
   
   Sorry if I sound anti-London, it's just that I was there and still feel like I spent way too much money.
