About Haus Patricia Pension

Trish and Steve are English. We own and run a beautiful guesthouse, which we have completely renovated since 2005. Haus Patricia offers a friendly, comfortable and affordable place to stay in a snow sure resort.

We are situated next door to the Ski School meeting place and beginners nursery slopes. The bus stop for the Maiskogel, Kitsteinhorn Glacier and Zell am See mountains is 100m away. We have over 100 walking and cycling trails. The village centre is a few minutes walk away.

Our rooms are large, comfortable and have a TV and are all en-suite. Some of the rooms have new balconies providing beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

We serve a substantial hot and cold breakfast buffet in the new breakfast room overlooking panoramic views of the surrounding area. You can relax in our small lounge area and enjoy a drink or two. For the comfort of all our guests our haus is non-smoking.

Visit us in the summer and enjoy the fantasic alpine scenery which is just outside your window . Hiking, biking, rafting and many other adventure sports are available to you. Enjoy a cool drink on our sun terrace in the evening.

Directions

We are situated behind the Ski Dome and next to the Ski School meeting place. Enter kaprun town centre go past the pavillon on you right and bear left. keep going along until the road curves then take a left we are the pink Haus on the corner.

Ryanair run 2 flights per day all year round from Stansted to Salzburg.

Flybe run Saturday flights from Southampton and Birmingham airports, to Salzburg from mid December to the end of March.

Thomsonfly run several flights per week all year round from Coventry to Salzburg.

BA from Gatwick have introduced for 2006 flights to Salzburg.

There are excellent rail and bus links from Salzburg airport to Zell am See (about 15 minutes from Kaprun). Buses leave directly from the airport.

If you choose to travel by train, bus and taxi services are available to take you the short trip to Salzburg main station. From there you can catch a train to Zell am See. We can arrange a pick up to complete your journey to Haus Patricia.

You can book a taxi direct on the internet from the airport or why not hire a car.

Alternatively arrange a transfer from the airport with us, a journey of approximately 1 hour 30 mins depending on conditions. Speak to us for more details.
