• Pension Adlerhof is an appealing four-story guesthouse with both traditional and modern rooms, situated just a few blocks west of the Hauptbahnhof.
  
  Aside from the sex shops across the street (which some will find enjoyable), the neighborhood has its perks including cheap Internet cafes, and Billa, an inexpensive supermarket chain. Also, Saint-Julien-Strasse, filled with restaurants and shops, is just two blocks away.
  
  Some rooms have funky hand-painted canopy beds and Austrian folk furniture, while others have more contemporary and simple decor. Adlerhof's triples and quads are great for families or small groups. Rooms that face the front are soundproofed and have views over Elisabethstrasse. Traffic is banned at night, so you won't hear any noise. The back rooms do face a bleak courtyard and offer less privacy. But, all rooms have satellite TV and telephones. Most rooms have private bathrooms with showers. Breakfast is served in an attractive room with booths, ornate molding, and oil paintings.
  
  Considering that the area is a little spooky at night, we were psyched reception stays open all night.

Family owned for 30 years, we combine our personal service with comfortable, clean rooms, all individually furnished, either in modern or traditonal Austrian style.

All of Salzburg's famous attractions are within walking distance, including the historical town-centre which is only 15 minutes walk away.

Bus and train connections to Salzburg's surrounding villages (Salzkammergut, Oberdorf...). and direct buses to the airport, leave every 15 minutes from the train station, which is only 3 minutes walk from the hotel.
