The city is situated in the plains of Stara planina (The Balkan), bisected by the Yantra river and its feeders. The river forms a zigzag formation leaving behind a hill in-between its diameters. The city rises in tiers, which gives the city a specials architectural outlook.

'The Pink Bakery' is a 10 minute walk from the local bus station, up the main high street into the old part of Veliko Tarnovo. We offer a free taxi pick up from the local railway station or either of the bus depots in town.
