Directions

If you are coming by car, you have several possibilities:

1. If you are passing by Zagreb then you have to drive on highway to Karlovac. From there you can:
a) proceed on highway towards Split, from Dugopolje to Sestanovac, Makarska riviera and further without highway towards Dubrovnik or
b) take the road towards Split through National park Plitvice lakes, Gracac, Knin, Sinj, Trilj, Brela (shorter way - but no highway). When you come to Makarska riviera drive to Ploce and further to the South, towards Dubrovnik.

2. If you are passing by Rijeka either take the Adriatic road on your way to South Dalmatia (you will pass near Zadar, Sibenik, Split, Makarska, Ploce and then you will arrive to Dubrovnik-Neretva county), or choose the highway up to Makarska riviera and then proceed by the Adriatic road towards Dubrovnik.

3. If you are coming from Eastern Croatia or Middle Europe cosider the shorter trip from Eastern Croatia (Slavonski Brod) through Bosnia & Herzegovina (Doboj, Zenica, Sarajevo, Mostar) to South Croatia (Metkovic, Opuzen).
Anyway, on your trip from Opuzen to Dubrovnik, you will pass through Neum (a short part of coastline belonging to Bosnia & Herzegovina) and enter Croatia again.
In Dubrovnik region you will pass the villages: Doli, Slano, Brsecine, Trsteno and Orasac. When you reach Zaton (yellow billboard Zaton - on the road), you will drive 6 km further (and pass white tables marking villages: Zaton Veliki, Zaton Mali, Stikovica, Vrbica) and just before you reach the another yellow table (on the right) announcing the end of the village Zaton and the begining of the village Lozica, you'll see our advertising billboard 'Apartments - Vrbica 1' on the right.

4. If you are coming from airport or port Dubrovnik, go towards Split. Rather choose the shorter way over the bridge. When you pass the bridge accross the bay 'Rijeka Dubrovacka', after 2 km you'll see our billboard 'Apartmani - Vrbica 1' on the left side of the road just before the first sharp right curve after yellow billboard Lozica.
But if you choose a 10 km longer trip all arround the deep bay of Rijeka Dubrovacka you will pass several villages (Sustjepan, Cajkovici, Komolac, Rozat, Nova Mokosica, Mokosica and through the village Lozica) before you see our sign 'Apartmani - Vrbica 1' (on the left side of road).

If you are coming by bus:
The main bus station is in Dubrovnik, many buses arrive there daily from all parts of Croatia.

Buses drive from Dubrovnik to all places in Dubrovnik area. Every 30 - 60 minutes they are driving to larger places and to other several times a day. You will need to get the bus towards Zaton. From the bus station in Vrbica you'll have to go 700 m backwards to our house.

Since the nearest grocery shop is 3 km from us try to buy some basic supplies before arrival.
