Rogoznica is a seaside resort situated 34 kilometres south of Sibenik, at one of the most southern points of Sibenik-Knin County. It is linked to Sibenik and Split by the Adriatic Highway. One part of Rogoznica lies on the coast and is called Kopača while the other was originally an island that has been converted into a peninsula. It is a well-protected port serving all kinds of boat and ships.
We have two apartments available just 1.5 km from the town centre and 50 m from the sea. One sleeps ten people and the other sleeps five. Both are furnished to a three star standard with a fully equipped kitchen (oven + grill, fridge, deep freezer, coffee maker and utensils), lounge with satellite TV and a balcony looking out to the sea. Guests have access to the garden and yard, and there is ample parking space. There is a pharmacy, supermarket, exchange office and travel agency in Rogoznica.
Rogoznica is a typical Mediteranean place, offering a bit of something for everyone. There are quiet paths leading through the pine tree wood, isolated bays and beaches and on the other hand a colourful and animated market and fish market in the morning and a stirring of a multitude of people amongst the bar and restaurant terraces in the evening. Nearby there is a salt lake called 'The Eye of the Dragon'. It is considered by scientists to be a remarkable phenomenon of nature for its origin and the flora and fauna it contains. The people of Rogoznica can tell many legends about it.
