The 3 star hotel 'Gold Cross' is one of the dominant features of the beautiful and historical town of Kaplice in South Bohemia. This town is located near the international highway E-55 linking the Czech Republic with Austria and Italy. Recently renovated, our hotel offers a pleasant and quiet setting on the square.
We offer 14 rooms and 3 apartments with their own accessories and we can accomodate 46 people (48 people in some cases).
We also have a hotel restaurant which serves reputable Bohemian cuisine and world-wide-known beer Krusovice. Seating 90, it guarantees satisfaction for all our guests.
And for the more active guests, there are tennis courts nearby and we can also arrange trips to introduce you to the beauty of the nearby countryside. Close to the hotel lies Sumava (the Bohemian forest) and one of the most picturesque Czech mountains. Just 17 km from Kaplice, you will find the town famed for its renaissance architecture - Cesky Krumlov, and also the popular Lipno dam. The picturesque countryside surrounding Kaplice is also veined by many asphalt-surfaced routes and is ideal for bikers.
