Welcome to YHA Exeter! This spacious 17th century building is tucked away on the edge of the city and is surrounded by tranquil grounds.

A walk along the historic ship canal or expansive River Exe will lead you towards the Quay and the beautiful cathedral in the heart of the city.

The centre is only a 10-minute bus ride away and has many intriguing attractions to explore - the Royal Albert Memorial Museum to name just one.

Safe cycle routes, Powderham Castle, the east and south Devon coasts and rugged Dartmoor are all within easy visiting distance.

Directions

From M5, J30, follow signs for city centre. Turn right at Countess Wear roundabout, then first left into School Lane. From A30, join M5 at J29 southbound and follow instructions above. From A379, follow signs for Topsham, turn left at Countess Wear roundabout then left into School Lane. From Exeter city centre follow signs for Topsham.
