The Renaissance Hotel has 15 basic rooms, half single and half twin, every one with its individual style. It is situated within 10 minutes walk to the beach through a beautifully tree lined street.

Opposite the hotel is the famous Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, which opened in 1927 and was a triumph of miniature engineering. Sainsbury is nearby.

We have a beautiful location close to the beach, as well as sightseeing spots and sport activities. We also have a good location close to Central London, which is only 1.5 hours away in car.

The hotel offers self-catering facilities with shared kitchen. The friendly staff have the ambition to make your stay as convenient as possible

Directions

By Car:
The station at New Romney is near the A259 trunk road which gives direct access from the Kent an Sussex coast.

Hythe Station is only 3 miles from the M20 junction 11 which makes it easily accessible from London, the M25, the Channel Ports and Euro Tunnel.

From M25 to M20 to Junction 10 follow signs for Brenzett A2070. At Brenzett turn left at mini roundabout onto A259. Proceed to New Romney High Street, turn right into Littlestone Road, the Renaissance Hotel is on the right hand side, 300 meters.

There are car parks at all major stations.

By Coach:
National Express Service 021 operates daily between London and Hythe, please telephone 08705 808080 for more information.

By Rail:
Travel via Ashford International to Folkestone Central and then by bus to Hythe. Or travel via Hastings to Rye and then by bus to New Romney. National Service Enquiries are on 0845 748 4950.

The Railway is served by buses from Ashford, Canterbury, Hastings, Rye, Folkestone and Dover. A combined bus and RH&DR ticket is available on Stagecoach services.

The Railway is about 2 miles from Lydd Airport, which is conveniently for flights from both the UK and Continental Europe. Buses connect Lydd Airport with New Romney.
