The massive 400-bed Globetrotter Inn offers a good deal for the budget traveler. Breakfast and linens are included in the price of a bed, and each bed has its own reading light and privacy curtain. Bonuses include an internet café, a fully-licensed bar, three TV lounges, a mini-supermarket, a well-equipped kitchen (the staff does the dishes for you!), and even a gym. The Globetrotter rents private twins and doubles as well as four- and six-bed dorms, and you don't have to pay more than ?20.
Though the Globetrotter isn't in the middle of the action (it's west of West Kensington), it's a very short walk from the Stamford Brook Tube station, which provides quick access to the rest of the city. Plus, it's only a 30-minute Tube ride from Heathrow Airport.
