YHA Oxford

  • "Basic, but good no-frills kind of place."

  • YHA is a totally no-frills "official" hostel accommodation just one block south of Oxford Street in the heart of Soho.

The YHA Oxford isn't that big, with only 31 rooms, and fills up quick. Three floors of the building are taken up by basic dorm rooms that have two to four bunks with a dresser and sink. Linens are included. Double rooms are pretty much the same and share bathrooms with the dorm rooms.

The reception is open 24/7, and guests may use the laundry facilities, kitchen, and TV.

Property Description

The best value budget accommodation in town. Centrally located with en-suite rooms, fully inclusive quality breakfast, stylish cafe/bar and well-equipped self-catering kitchen. Say goodbye to big impersonal dormitories, YHA Oxford redefines what you can expect from a hostel. The only 'Top 5 Author Pick' hostel in Oxford according to Lonely Planet, offering 24 hr check-in, Internet access, free luggage store, lockers and private rooms all 5 minutes walk from the city centre. 4 Star rated and a top recommendation from reviewers and customers alike, YHA Oxford sets the standard for quality on a budget.

Most rooms have en-suite facilities and you'll only share with up to 5 other people (our price doesn't go up for a smaller room). Alternatively, private rooms are also available. Linen is always included.

The hostel is the perfect base for exploring the historic colleges of Oxford University, punting on the River Thames, or visiting Blenheim Palace. Guests can even take advantage of the cheapest open top bus tickets in town for sale from reception. Our ultra-friendly, knowledgeable staff will always be on hand to recommend the best things to see and do and help you find your way around our vibrant city.
