About The Ansells Bed and Breakfast

At The Ansells we offer a friendly welcome and good quality budget rooms.We are 8 miles from the airport.Taxis cost £14 one way.There are local pubs nearby which serve good food.

We have a large modern town house a 10 minute drive from Stansted airport and a short drive from Bishop's Stortford train station where there is an excelllent service to London Liverpool Street station.

The rooms have TV,Hairdrier and Hospitality tray.
A light self service continental breakfast is included.
Guest times
Check in between 4pm and 10pm.
Departure time is 10.30am.
Late arrivals by arrangement.
Sorry no early check ins.
No smoking establishment.
Cancellations are charged at the full rate if less than 48 hours notice given.

Directions

By car from Stansted airport take the slip road signposted for Bishop's Stortford. At the M11 roundabout take the A120 signposted for Hertford. The A120 then becomes the A1184. Carry straight on this road and it becomes St James Way. You will arrive at a roundabout with a sign to St. Michaels Mead. Continue to the next roundabout (also sign posted St Michaels Mead) where you take a left turn. Then turn left onto The Shearers. Our Town houses can be found about 150 metres on the right hand side.

By bus from the airport take the 308/9 service to Thorley.You will then have a short walk to our house.Please phone for directions.

By train from the airport disembark at Bishop's Stortford where we can pick you up.
Taxis from the airport cost £14 and to the airport £11.
