In the Centre of the Flitch town of Great Dunmow standing opposite the Old Market Place, this historic 16th century Coaching Inn has been welcoming visitors for nearly 400 years.

The property was built in 1560 and over the years the fabric of the hotel has been enriched and today boasts an 18th Century facade and elegant Georgian and Tudor-Style architecture.

Directions

By car: Exit the M11 Motorway (Junction 8A) sign-posted Colchester. Follow A120 East to Great Dunmow for approximately 5 miles. Then Follow the signs into the centre of Great Dunmow. The hotel is situated in the middle of the High Street on the right hand side. To arrive at our car park, turn right by the Police Station into Chequers lane.

Alternative: There is easy access from the centre of London by bus or train to Stansted airport from there you can take a bus or Taxi straight to the hotel.
