Nooruse B&B is a cozy family-run guesthose, offering comfortable beds
and delicious breakfast for the weekend traveller as well as the
global backpacker. If you care for good times, good food, as well as
good sleep, it's the place to stay in Kuressaare. We're located in a
charming residential neighborhood - far enough from the center to
avoid the noise, yet close enough for a refreshing walk home from a
shopping-spree or a night out on the town.

Enjoy a morning jog in the health park down the street or a 15-minute
walk to the beach and the spas. The prime tourist destination, the
Kuressaare Castle, is only a 10-minute walk away. If you're the
adventurous type, pick one of our four bicycles, and go for a ride
around Saaremaa (110 EEK/7 EUR per day).

There is a balcony-equipped common area that has a refridgerator,
microwave, electric kettle, toaster, as well as clean dishes. There,
you can enjoy the heartiest complimentary breakfast in Saaremaa at
your convenience. Your hosts will check in with you to make sure that
they have your coffee brewed and home-made pancakes sizzling on time
(if it's pancake day, that is). Please let us know of your dietary
needs ahead of time, so we may make your stay as pleasant as possible.

We also offer free wireless DSL Internet, so bring your laptop!

Directions

Upon your arrival via bus, simply cross the Pihtla street, which is the main road outside of the station. Follow Pärna street and walk through the quiet residential neighborhood (approx. 400 meters, until you reach a giant windmill) and turn left on Kaevu street. Walk down Kaevu for approximately 600 meters until you reach Nooruse street. (You will see a large school - the Kuressaare Gümnaasium - to your left.) Turn right onto Nooruse street and walk approximately 400 meters, which is where you will find our B&B.

Upon your arrival via air, you may choose to catch the Number 2 bus from the airport to the Nooruse street stop. The Nooruse stop is the next stop, about 3 minutes from the airport.
The bus ticket will cost 5 Estonian kroons (about 0,30 EUR) and the bus leaves the airport on an hourly basis (9:30, 10:30; 11:30 etc.).

If you'd enjoy a walk along the seaside, you may prefer to simply follow the main road (Roomassaare tee) to Nooruse Street. It's a pleasant 20-30 minute walk from the airport to our guesthouse.

Alternatively, you may catch a cab at the bus station or the airport, and tell the driver to take you to Nooruse 46. The cab ride should cost anywhere between 30 and 50 estonian kroons (2-3.50 euros). If you have a lot of luggage or are arriving late, you can also e-mail us ahead of time and we may be able to arrange transportation for you for a small fee.
