Wilderness Hostel Karuskose

Property Description

Wilderness Hostel Karuskose is situated near Raudna River, in the middle of Soomaa National Park.

We offer accommodation in the old farmhouse (3 rooms with 10 beds) and a wooden log-cabin (2 beds). Simple facilities - try toilets outside the house. Traditional smoke sauna and floating sauna on the river.

Karuskose has a nice and old garden with apple trees and vegetables.

Here in Karuskose starts Ingatsi nature trail that takes you to Kuresoo Bog, the biggest mire of Estonia, good for bog-walking (year around) and bog-skiing (dec-march).

On the river of Raudna you can go canoeing and fishing.

At Karuskose the cources of building dugout canoes - haabjas, have been hold. You are welcome to participate.
