Fleur de Lys B&B is a delightful early 19thC Maison Bourgeoise in village setting, with attractive rear gardens, overlooking a swimming pool and play area with four guest rooms.
The house has been recently renovated and equipped by the current owners to a high standard to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The four guest rooms are:

Grand Double - a large room with Queen sized four-poster double bed, decorated in the 'Toile' style with room for a child's bed or cot if required; an en-suite shower room with hydro-massage shower, WC and illuminated vanity basin unit.
Upper Family Suite ? a double room with adjoining twin room, both overlooking attractive rear gardens with en-suite shower room comprising hydro-massage shower, WC and illuminated vanity basin.
Lower Family room ? a double room with adjoining twin room, both overlooking rear gardens with en-suite bathroom comprising bath with shower over, WC and illuminated vanity basin.
Family Studio - a large room with vaulted ceilings and exposed oak beams containing a double bed and pair of bunk beds with en-suite shower room. In summer this room has its own air-conditioning.
The large Guest Dining room has been equipped with a kitchen for the unlimited use of guests, with fridge, cooker, dishwasher and free tea and coffee making facilities. It also includes a small lounge area with UK satellite TV (Bedrooms have french TV and DVD players). We have a good selection of mainstream and children's DVDs (and books) which guests are welcome to borrow and watch (read) in their room.
There is a large attractive 'hanger' (open sided barn) where meals can be taken 'al fresco' when the sun is too strong (quite frequent in this, the second sunniest region of France!) or a game of table tennis can be enjoyed

Directions

By Road - about 4 hours from Paris (A6, A71, A20) via Limoges and then N141 via St Junien to the D948 to Confolens, where one turns left to cross the River Vienne, then left again on the D952 to Ansac
By Rail - TGV trains run from Paris to Limoges, Poitiers and Angouleme, then by road.
By Air - UK flights to Limoges & Poitiers (Ryanair, Flybe). Ryanair due to start flights to Angouleme summer 2007
