MARVAL, ON THE DORDOGNE/HAUTE VIENNE BORDER
17th Century Farmhouse with well-established restaurant, friendly bar, swimming pool, self-catering cottages (pets welcomed) and Luxury B&B. Cottages - sleep 23 and B&B - sleeps 14. All our accommodation is Non-Smoking. Children Welcome. Small number of quiet secluded camping pitches also available.

La Ferme du Lac sits at the end of a winding lane, 2 miles from Marval (valley of the lakes) in the Parc Naturel Regional Perigord-Limousin.

Situated approximately 45 minutes drive from Limoges Airport, making it an ideal spot for travellers exploring the area or for house hunters.

Our property comprises a 22-acre valley with a 7-acre lake at its heart. It's a perfect spot for watching the wildlife of the region - over 120 species of birds along with otter, deer, boar, civet cat and others. The lake contains carp, coarse and game fish, and we have a category A (trout) river running through our land.

There are a number of beautiful villages and towns in the area with regular markets, good restaurants, and a full range of activities and interests. Accommodation: Our cottages and B&B rooms are either new or have recently been refurbished to an excellent standard. Good quality bed linen and towels are provided.

We keep all relevant tourist information on site and we can also offer internet access.

Breakfast can be provided at the following rates:
Continental: 4,0 euros per person
Full English: 8,5 euros per person
Eggs come courtesy of our resident chickens.

Please note: we do not serve Full English breakfast during the months of July and August.

Table d'hote by arrangement out of season. 12 - 16 euros per person incl. wine.

We charge a supplement of 7,5 euros per room, for 1 night bookings. Extra beds can also be provided at a cost of 5 euros per bed. Please specify extra beds when you are contacted after your initial booking.

TRAVEL DETAILS

By Air
Ryanair fly to Limoges, our nearest airport, from Stansted, Liverpool, East Midlands and Southampton. La Ferme du Lac is situated 45 minutes drive from Limoges airport. For more travel information please visit our website.

By Road
From Limoges Airport follow the signs for Aixe-sur-Vienne. Once in Aixe-sur-Vienne take the N21 in the direction of Périgueux. About 3 miles past Sereilhac turn right onto the D699, in the direction of Gorre/Cussac/St Mathieu. In Cussac just before the cemetery, turn left onto the D73, in the direction of Marval-Milhaguet. Continue following the Marval signs. Once at the T-junction on the outskirts of Marval, turn right onto the D15, in the direction of Piégut. At the church (on your right), turn left onto the D64, in the direction of Abjat. After about 200 yards take the first left, in the direction of L'Epinassie and follow our blue and white signs. You will pass through the village of L'Epinassie about 300 yards before you get to La Ferme du Lac.
