Our Guesthouse 1A Apartment Berlin offers very quiet single, double, triple and quadruple rooms - located at a typical Berlin inner courtyard. It does not matter if you visit Berlin with your family, as small groups, for business or studies. The Guesthouse is everything you could hope for, cosy and well organized in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for its international guests on a low budget. The rooms have a comfort standard (all rooms have own Bathroom, shower and toilet, refrigerator, coffemaker, cabel tv radio and hair dryer) and will be cleaned daily.

Every room has a TV and the bathroom contains shower and WC. If you need, we could provide a fridge. The Guesthouse is situated right in the heart of the tremendous growing metropolis - Berlin, in the district Prenzlauer Berg, where East and West come together. The result is an iridescent multicultural kaleidoscope of human relations.

You may walk trought the Schönhauser Allee, an area filled with numerous beautiful old buildings. The coloured remains of the wall, the "East side gallery", are as easily reached as the new Government Quarters, the Museumisland and lots of other sights. The wall that divided East and West used to be quite close to our Guesthouse. A beautiful 'wall-park' and a '100 meter' wall is not all that's left now, we also have a big Sport area.

Today life pulsates at 'Prenzlauer Berg', loved by residents and travellers alike for its shopping, leisure activities, clubs, cafes, bars, discos and of course restaurants - famous for its vivid nightlife, the biggest Scene in Berlin. The area is 100% safe.

Directions

Airport Tegel:

If you arrive at Tegel Airport, you go by express bus until metropolitan railway station Beusselstraße and get there to the metropolitan railway (circle line) line S41 and until Schönhauser Allee up to the U-/ S-Bahn cross, if you can run up to the Milastraße or stations with the tramway no. M1 (direction city centre) you go 1 station from there.

Airport Berlin Schoenefeld:

If you arrive at the Schoenefeld airport, get the metrolitan railway station (the Bus is also possible) go with the railway (S9) or the Regional express toward west cross and get the U+ S (metrolitan railway) station cross Alexanderplatz, into the underground get U2 Line toward Pankow up to Eberswalder Strasse station. From now you must go to Schönhauser Allee up to Milastraße, go (1. Road Left) or you go 1 Station with the tramway no. M1 (Direction Pankow)

Airport Tempelhof:

If you arrive at the airport Tempelhof, run for underground station place of the air lift (U6) and drive up to the station city center. There you enter into the underground (U2) toward Vinetastrasse and drive up to the station Eberwalderstrasse. From there you can run up to the Milastrasse (opposite the mansion Groterjan) on the left side.

Station zoo-logical garden:

If you arrive at the station zoo-logical garden, enter into the underground (U2) toward Pankow and drive up to the station Eberwalderstrasse. From there you can run up to the Milastrasse (opposite the mansion Groterjan) on the left side.

Station Berlin Lichtenberg:

If you arrive at the station Berlin Lichtenberg, drive with that
Rapid-transit railway to the station east cross (2 stations), lift-off the stairs and to drive from the upper platform with the rapid-transit railway toward Bernau, book, Birkenwerder or bright castle up to the station Schoenhauser avenue. From there you can run up to the Milastrasse (opposite mansion Groterjan) on the left side, or you drive 2 stations with the streetcar No. 50 (direction town center).

Station Ostbahnhof:

If you arrive at the east station, enter into the rapid-transit railway toward potsdam, west cross, Charlottenburg or Friedrichstrasse and drive 2 stations up to the Alexanderplatz. There you enter into the underground (U2) toward Pankow - Vinetastrasse and drive up to the station Eberwalderstrasse. From there you can run up to the Milastrasse (opposite the mansion Groterjan) on the left side.

Motorway Hamburg/Rostock:

If you come from the motorway Hamburg/Rostock (direction Prenzlau/Frankfurt Frankfurt-Oder), take the departure Berlin Pankow. They drive city inward the Prenzlauer promenade always straightforward up to the crossing Wisbyer road. At the crossing you turn right, bend left on the Schoenhauser avenue and drive (left) into the Milastrasse. The pension is opposite the mansion Groterjan on the left side.

Urban motorway:

If you come from the urban motorway, drive toward Wedding/Prenzlauer mountain. At the crossing Bornholmer STR/Schoenhauser avenue drive you to quite on the Schoenhauser avenue and drive right into the Milastrasse. The pension is opposite the mansion Groterjan on the left side.
