Property Description

We are a hotel right in the heart of Berlin. All rooms are equipped with shower and toilet, telephone and television and are bright, friendly furnished and surprisingly quiet, although we're settled in downtown city where the traffic is pretty heavy.

We offer you the possibility to meet Berlin individually or in a group at reasonable prices. You will find two parking areas close to our house and many recommended cafes and restaurants around.

The Kaiserdamm is a straight Avenue crossing Ernst-Reuter-Platz down to Straße des 17. Juni with the Siegessäule (Victory Column), the world famous Brandenburg Gate and further Unter den Linden, the Boulevard which takes you directly to the old Opera House, the Museum Island, the Reichstag and Potsdamer Platz. The Kurfürstendamm (Berliners say gently 'Ku-Damm'), the KaDeWe (world famous department store) and other interesting places of our Capital can be reached within a few minutes taking a taxi or the Underground.

Our Hotel is placed directly at the Kaiserdamm in the Charlottenburg district, which is a straight connection between the East, with its new governement buildings and the West with the Fair Center. You can reach the Fair and the International Congress Center (ICC) by foot within 5 minutes.To get to the Olympic Stadium you have to take the Underground (U-Bahn) Line U2 for 3 stops, getting off at Olympic Stadium. Same with reaching the Zoologischer Garten. Same Underground, opposite direction, 5 stops.The Kurfürstendamm (say 'Ku-Damm'), the Stadtmitte (the original center of the city), the Grunewald (Berlins biggest forrest) and most of the culturel attractions as Opera Houses, Theaters, Schloss Charlottenburg (Castle from 1700), the Zoo and Aquarium and many Museums are also only a few steps away, easily to reach by Underground, Busses or Taxi. You will find the entrance to the Underground U2 directly in front of our house.
1. If you're travelling by car:
- coming from the North: Autobahn-Exit Kaiserdamm-Nord, turning right, approx. 300 m
- coming from the South or West: Autobahn (Avus), Exit Messedamm, straight ahead to the Kaiserdamm, turning left at the red lights.
2. Arriving at the airport:
- Tegel: Bus X9 to S+U Jungfernheide, then S-Bahn Line S42 direction S+U Bundesplatz to Messe Nord/ICC or by Taxi
- Tempelhof: U-Bahn U6 direction Alt-Tegel to Stadtmitte, then U-Bahn U2 direction Ruhleben to Kaiserdamm or by Taxi
- Schönefeld: Express-Train to Zoologischer Garten, changing to U-Bahn U2 direction Ruhleben to Kaiserdamm or by Taxi
3. Arriving by train:
- Hauptbahnhof: S-Bahn Line S5 / S7 / S75 to Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten, then U2 direction Ruhleben to Kaiserdamm or by Taxi
- Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten: U-Bahn Line U2 direction Ruhleben to Kaiserdamm or by Taxi
- Ostbahnhof: S-Bahn Line S5 / S7 / S75 to Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten, then U-Bahn U2 direction Ruhleben to Kaiserdamm or by Taxi
