• Just steps away from the Ku'Damm, the Hotel-Pension Charlottenburg is one of many clean, modern and appealing hotels in the area that, despite its boisterous location, is a quiet establishment.
  
  The Carlottenburg's 19 rooms have a retro modernist feel. Some rooms face a courtyard and others are streetside. Some rooms are a decorative jumble of reproductions of floral paintings, classic 1960s headboards, and even hypermodern chairs, reminiscent of Italy circa 1970. The effect is charming, if a bit random.
