Welcome to the vibrant centre of Leipzig, the metropolis of fairs and culture and to the Mark Hotel Garni.

This town today is livelier than ever: a metropolis for trade fairs, congresses and commerce - though culture, sports, nightlife and shopping are equally at home here.

The hotel is only a short walk from the centre of town in a conveniently situated yet quiet location. It has 72 rooms' incl. 30 family apartments. Three floors are reserved exclusively for non-smokers. The rich and delicious breakfast buffet is open daily until 10 a.m. and until 11 a.m. even on weekends and holidays. Our conference room with daylight provides ideal conditions for seminars and meetings of up to 15 persons. Parking places exist in sufficient number in front of the hotel and in the proximity.

From the hotel, you can easily reach all sights of Leipzig ? such as opera and garb house, diverse museums, the shopping arcades "Mädlergasse" or "Speckshof" ? in only a few minutes by foot.

Directions

The Mark Hotel Garni is situated in a quit side road in the centre of Leipzig only about 1.000 meters away from the Opera and the Gewandhaus between Dresdner and Prager Straße.
Our hotel is the ideal starting point for your expedition to the most famous sights of the city.

You can reach us by car and by public transports comparably good.

Arriving by car: A14 / Exit 'Leipzig Mitte' along 'Neuer Messe' - follow the signs on B2 in direction 'Gera / Chemnitz.
Drive over the Steel bridge called 'Brandenburger Straße'. After 1.5 km you will reach the 'Gerichtsweg'. The hotel is situated on the right-hand side.

Arriving by train: Once arrived at the main station, get onto the tram no. 4 (in direction Stötteritz) or no. 7 (in direction Sommerfeld). Drop off the tram at the third station called 'Gerichtsweg'. You will find the hotel on the right-hand side.

Arriving by plane: Once arrived at the Airport Halle / Leipzig, get onto the train to the main station of Leipzig. The journey time is approximately 15 minutes. At the main station get onto the tram no. 4 (in direction Stötteritz) or no. 7 (in direction Sommerfeld). Drop off the tram at the third station called 'Gerichtsweg'. You will find the hotel on the right-hand side.
