The Ionis Hotel is a 3-star hotel that represents excellent value for money. Built in 1977 and renovated in 1987, this one of the best places to stay in Athens.

We are located only a few meters from Omonia Sq in the heart of the city. Thanks to that we are within easy access to all underground stations and public transport.

Our location means we are also within walking distance from the famous Plaka district which has many bars and restaurants to relax in.

Directions

Once you get to Athens city centre go to Omonia Square. Buses and Metro stop there. From there go to Amonia Square (metro station stop).

The airport of Athens, Eleftherios Venizelos, is 40 minutes drive away from the hotel
and you can reach it either by taxi (the tariff of the taxi comes up to 30,00euro), or by metro.
Piraeus port is 20 minutes away by subway.
