We are the perfect choice for visitors to Heraklion, Crete offering an oasis of hospitality, and arguably the best location in the city. Operating year round, we are located directly across from the old port, offering panoramic views of the Venetian Fortress.

Arriving by Airplane

Using a Car: The only road that travels from the airport to Heraklion centre is "Ikarou" street. Follow this road all the way to the city centre. After approximately 4 km, you will be going uphill with the Venetian Wall and grassed areas to your right. When you reach the Archaeological Museum (at the top of the hill), turn directly right down "Bofor" Street. After 150 meters, this road turns a bend and becomes "Epimenidou" Street where you will see Lato Hotel approx. 150 meters in front of you. Please, use the third map as a reference.

Using a Taxi: There are always taxis available at the airport - the cost should not exceed 7 ?.

Using a Bus: The bus stop in the city center where you should get off is "Eleftherias" square. The bus stop is outside a cinema. To the right of the cinema, follow "Idomeneos" street, until you meet "Epimenidou" street. Turn right and you will see LATO hotel in front of you. Please, use the third map as a reference.

Arriving by Ship

Using a Car: Exactly across the port exit is "Ethnikis Antistaseos" road. Cross the traffic lights, at the port exit, and follow "Ethinikis Antistaseos" road for 100 meters. When you meet traffic lights again, turn right to "Ikarou" street. After 200 meters, you will be going uphill with the Venetian Wall and grassed areas to your right. When you reach the Archaeological Museum (at the top of the hill), turn directly right down "Bofor" Street. After 150 meters, this road turns a bend and becomes "Epimenidou" Street where you will see Lato Hotel approx. 150 meters in front of you. Please, use the third map as a reference.

Using a Taxi: Taxi fare should not exceed 5 ?.

On Foot: LATO hotel is in front of the Old Port being only 10 minutes away from it. As you leave the port exit turn right to "Aigaiou" road until you meet "Kountourioti" square. Exactly across the square there are stairs that lead to "Epimenidou" street. Turn right and you will see LATO hotel in front of you. Please, use the third map as a reference.
