Directions:

If you are arriving from the Southern direction i.e. Shannon
Airport/Ennis/Limerick, then you will find us on the left hand side, facing the main road, about 400 metres before the left turn on to the main street of Gort. The best point of reference to ask for is the 'Lady Gregory Hotel'. We are approximately 300 metres south of this hotel.

If you are coming from the North, that is from the Galway direction, then you continue straight through Gort Town, following the main road which becomes the 'Ennis Road' at the other end of the Town. From the start of the Ennis Road we are approximately 400 metres on the right hand side.

Look for yellow and black 'Burren Hills B&B signs. There is also a
smaller sign on the house itself. We are the first house on the right as you enter the Sliabh Carran estate.

Public Transport'

Gort is approximately halfway between Shannon Airport and Galway City which are about 45 minutes in each direction.

There are 2 Bus Companies which serve Gort. They will generally only stop at the main Square of Gort but coming from the Shannon direction they may stop
at the Sliabh Carran Estate if you ask the driver in advance. From the Gort Square, it is about a 15 minute walk following the above directions. If we are available, we will come and pick you up if necessary.
