Directions
To get to The Western, we recommend you follow these directions:
Coming from Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Shannon follow the road signs for Galway. As you approach Galway follow the city centre signs and continue towards Eyre Square.
We are located 100 yards before you reach Eyre Square on your right hand side. To enter our car park take the last right-hand turn before The Western, then two sharp lefts will bring you straight to us
By train or bus:
Galway's train and bus stations are located in the city centre, and just a 3 minute walk from the Western.
On exiting the station, take a left, heading towards Eyre Square
Walk to right of square, passing O'Connells bar and NTL offices on right
At corner of Richardsons pub, take a right onto Prospect Hill
Continue along Prospect Hill and the Western is ahead on the left-hand side
By air:
Galway Airport is located at Carnmore, just 8km north of the city.
Aer Arann offers flights to Galway airport from Dublin, Cork, Luton, Leeds, Edinburgh, Manchester and Lorient.
From March 2007 Flybe will launch a service to Galway from Belfast and Birmingham, England.
