About Finnegan's Hostel

Our hostel is a 3 storey building built by the Denny Family from the stones of the old town castle in 1826. It was used as private residence until 1940.

Now we have a 40 bed hostel with 5 double rooms and 6 dorm rooms with 6 and 4 bedded dorms. All our rooms are en-suite. We have a kitchen and dining room, and a TV room with a great big open fireplace for those frosty winter nights!

We have a cellar restaurant with sea food delicacies and great steaks and a full wine list selection with great value for your money.

The hostel is located on 17 Denny Street on the right hand side. This is street is located just off the main Castle Street. We are only a 2 minute walk from the Ashe Memorial Museum and tourist office. The great town park is directly across the road with its large rose flowers used famously for our international Rose of Tralee Festival held in the town every year in the month of August.

We are also only a 5 minute walk from the bus and train station.
