About Bed and Breakfast L'Antica Via

Our Bed & Breakfast is located on the first floor of a magnificent 18th Century palace as a pearl in the majestic "Via Atenea", the historical street which shows the splendour of the city centre.

During the traditional breakfast, served in a pleasant room, you will be able to taste some local delicious sweets.

Every room has a modern exclusive new system bath with shower, bidet, w.c. and washbasin. You will have every comfort: television and full control of the room temperature thanks to a central heating system and air conditioning.

The area has plenty of bars, restaurants, pastry shops and valuable manufacture shops.
The rooms with two or three beds are elegantly furnished and overlook the elegant part of the city with private balconies or windows.
There's an Internet Point very close to the B&B.

Payment: Cash only, on arrival.
Check-in: after 11am.

We are at the very center of the city, in the Piazzetta Ficani.

You will get to our B&B after walking down a characteristic narrow lane on your right hand side along Via Atenea, from Porta di Ponte, one of the most famous places of the city.

You will be able to reach this historical city door in one of the following ways:

From Piazza Marconi, the square before the railway station, go up on the left for about 200 meters to reach "Porta di Ponte"

Or

From Piazzale Rosselli (the large bus station square), you will have to cover approximately 50 meters in order to get to another square, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. From this wide square you can easily get to Porta di Ponte.

If you arrive by car:
- from the S.S.189 (from Palermo etc.), you will have to follow the indication for the city centre ("centro cittą"). You will arrive in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. "Porta di Ponte" is just a few metres away.
- from the S.S.640 (from Catania etc.) you will have to follow the indication for the city centre ("centro cittą"). You will arrive in "Piazza Vittorio Emanuele". "Porta di Ponte" is just a few metres away.
- from the S.S.115 (from Palermo airport, Sciacca etc.) to Porto Empedocle you will have to go through the "viadotto Morandi", and finally up until the railway station, from where you can easily get to "Porta di Ponte".
