About Agora Hostel

AGORA HOSTEL is an independent hostel in the very heart of Catania. The hostel looks on to a square next to the ruins of an ancient roman bath and lies close to the Pescheria, the fascinating street fishmarket and the cathedral and nightlife area.

Siracusa, Etna and Taormina are an hour away by train or by bus, the beaches or the lavic coast are 20 minutes by bus

The hostel, run by young english speaking staff, offers you rooms with 6 up to 12 beds for room, breakfast, restaurant, bar, internet access, hot showers, laundry, tv. It is close to the bus and train stations, 20 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from the airport. Mt. Etna volcano is just 30 minutes away by car.

Our restaurant is specialized on Sicilian food and it's appreciated by the Cataneses open for lunch and for dinner, pub, ethnic night club,
the wine bar is underground and among a glass of sicilian wine, a piece of cheese and a typical salami you can join the beauty of the river that flows right there, 20 meters underground.

HAPPY FOOD! HAPPY HOUR!

We know our bar is great, we know our food is fantastic. And we want our guests to get that little something extra. You can have lunch and dinner at the hostel from ?6 (a sicilian starter, cous cous or some paella) and a drink.

This is Sicily and time moves more slowly here! Happy Hour is from 5pm-10pm, for every cocktail or draught beer you buy, you get the second one free.
