In the centre of Florence, in an elegant turn of the century villa, you will find the comfortable Bed and Breakfast 'Abatjour'. The accurate restoration, the attention to detail, the colour of the rooms accompanied by the beautiful decoration and the warm welcome you will receive all give Abatjour an atmosphere of relaxation and comfort from the beginning of your stay.
The rooms, all equipped with private bathrooms and air conditioning, are tastefully furnished and very comfortable. You will find a friendly staff to welcome you, and last but not least, some bicycles to rent at your disposition to use for tours of the city.

The Bed and Breakfast 'Abatjour' is set in a perfect situation for your excursions into the historic centre, and also into the outskirts of the city.

Directions

By Car:
From Autostrada A1 to the Firenze Nord Exit: Follow signs for Rifredi-Careggi , then for Firenze centro (white signs with three concentric circles).When you get to Viale Belfiore, follow signs for Stazione/Fortezza da Basso.You will soon come to the fortress, driving on Viale Gramsci. Continue around the fortress and follow signs for Rifredi-Careggi. About 500 yards later you will go under an overpass and drive past a large department store called UPIM. Viale dei Cadorna 12 is on your left immediately after the store.

How to get there from the Florence Airport:
Take a taxi or the Nr. 62 bus from Amerigo Vespucci Airport to Santa Maria Novella train station,then switch to the Nr. 28 bus, get off at Viale dei Cadorna 12 (500 Yards after the fortress) and turn left.
Public Bus: Take Nr. 4, Nr. 20 & Nr. 28

From Santa Maria Novella Train Station (the main station- beware: Florence has three others!) and follow instructions as above. From Station you can reach us in 5 min. by bus or in 15 min. by walk.
