Just 10 minutes walking distance from the historical centre, in a very quiet private townhouse in one of the best neighborhoods of Florence (Piazza delle Cure) and on the way to Fiesole (you can take wonderful walks from here to Fiesole!), you will find the cozy B&B Florentia, one of the few real Bed & Breakfasts in Florence with family flair, where we'll take care of you to make you feel just like home.
Our three rooms are on the first floor of our house together with the bathroom (in common), facing the garden.
Rooms with 1 - 4 beds available (total of 8 beds), so you may decide to come with your whole family or all of your friends as well as for a romantic getaway for the weekend... Whatever you decide, one night or a whole month, you will certainly feel very comfortable with us.

Our 3 rooms have just been renewed as theme rooms: '1001 Arabian Nights' (double bed), 'Orient' (twin room with 2 beds that can be put together to a double bed) and 'Grannie's Family Room' (quadruple room with a big bed and a bunk bed).
The rooms '1001 Arabian Nights' and 'Orient' are rooms in cozy warm colours and their soft lights give them a romantic atmosphere which invite to have breakfast in bed (until noon!) and check-out late (until 13.00 - 1 p.m. on request, surcharge). You can also surprise your partner with a bottle of champagne or wine, fresh flowers, cioccolates and exotic fruits - just make your request and you'll find it in your room at your arrival (extra charge).

You'll have a hairdryer at your disposal and, on request, also a refrigerator for your room, an iron and ironing board and a washing machine and a dryer (for a small fee).
You'll get a set of keys, so you will be completely independent!

- Set of sheets for every new client and at least once a week if you stay longer
- Set of towels for every new client and at least once a week if you stay longer
- Change of towels for every new client and at least once a week if you stay longer
- Hot water and heating
- Hair dryer

- Reservation for museums, concerts, theater etc.

Important: Once you have made your reservation, you have to let us konw your exact arrival time, otherwise nobody will be there to check you in and hand over the keys!
We don't have a 24 hrs. reception!

If you would like to be picked up at the Airport Amerigo Vespucci in Florence (not in Pisa!), let us know, airport pick up is only 15?/person.

From the airport Amerigo Vespucci: Shuttle until the train station S.M.N.

From the central train station S.M.N. Firenze:Bus Nr. 1A or 1B in direction piazza della Libertà (get off at the bus stop in Via Madonna della Querce - second bus stop after the railroad bridge) and 7 (about 15 min. - get off at busstop in Viale dei Mille).
From the train station Campo di Marte (Florence): Bus Nr. 12 (about 10 min. - get off at busstop in Via Masaccio) and Bus no. 34 (get off in Via Dogali).
Bus tickets have to be bought at a Tabacchi or a newspaper stand, often they are not available on the bus!

By car:
If you arrive from north of Florence:
Exit 'Firenze Nord', after leaving the Highway keep left (but don't turn left!) and follow the signs to 'Viali circonvallazione-centro'. Then always straight in 'Viale Guidoni' until the last traffic light, turn right in direction to 'centro-stadio-Fortezza da Basso' into 'Via Forlanini' and straight until the end of this street. At the roundabout take the street on your left (i.e. you'll drive onto a bridge) and follow this street ('Viale Redi'). Drive through until the end of this street until it leads into 'Viale Belfiore', here you turn immediately left into 'Via Guido Monaco' and at the traffic light left again into 'Viale Fratelli Rosselli'. Now always straight (through an underpass) into 'Viale Strozzi' (now you're passing the 'Fortezza da Basso') and after the traffic light (keep on the right) into 'Viale Lavagnini' up to 'Piazza della Libertà', here you turn left towards 'Fiesole/Stadio)', drive through 'Viale Don Minzoni' and over the railroad bridge, after which you'll have to turn right into 'Viale dei Mille'. Turn left at the very first traffic light into 'Via Montanara' and cross the traffic light (straight) into 'Via Passavanti', follow the (blue) numbers up to Number 49 (after the hairdresser - in front of a big oak tree).
If you come from south of Florence:
Exit the highway at 'Firenze Sud', at the exit of the highway keep left and turn left onto the 'Lungarno' in direction towards 'Centro'. Go until the end of this street (when it turns right into 'Viale Amendola'. Go straight passing 'Piazza Beccaria' and 'Piazza Donatello' until 'Piazza della Libertà', here turn right into 'Viale Don Minzoni' in direction to 'Fiesole/Stadio', go over the bridge, after which you'll have to turn right into 'Viale dei Mille'. Turn left at the very first traffic light into 'Via Montanara' and cross the traffic light (straight) into 'Via Passavanti', follow the (blue) numbers up to Number 49 (in front of a big oak - after the hairdresser).
