Right in the central, historic neighborhood of San Marco, between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's square, the B&B Santa Sofia is in the middle of everything. Bring your earplugs, though — the bar on the same street as the hostel can get rowdy at night. The hostel itself, however, is perfectly quiet. It's a small place owned by a married couple, offering single, double, triple, and quadruple private rooms with breakfast brought to your room in the mornings. Perfect for those looking to put their Italian phrase-book skills to use.
