we never booked a hostel on a campsite before and can only say that the experience was amazing for the amount we paid. half a mobil home with yr own toilet and shower, fridge and airco! mobil home was standing under the trees, so shade all day. it was hot when we stayed all jolly. simple but handy supermarket, reasonably priced restaurant, friendly served. will certainly make us of these facilities elsewhere in europe. thanks for making our stay in venice soo nice. shuttle bus was handy, maybe more return possibilities would give even more comfort, as it is not so easy to find the campsite back with regular bus. also visit chioggia, similar town as venice with bridges and nice shops and houses. channels used by local fisherman. padova also a beautiful town. enjoy yr stay.
Not a bad place to stay if you're on a tight budget. the camping village is a 10 min walk from the bus stop into venice and then 10 min bus ride into town. there is a lot to do at the camping village, if you'd rather swim, work out. lay around the pool, and dance than go into the city. the rates are low, but they charge a lot for laundry, internet access, shuttle rides into the city, and food- breakfast is not included. however, I stayed a a very nice little room with air conditioning and a refrigerator so I can't complain too much. the staff was friendly and helpful, the place was clean and inexpensive
