Welcome to Casa del Miel - The Honey House. We are located near Marco Polo Airport and the Casiṇ at Ca' Noghera, just 15 minutes drive from central Venice. The Honey House has a spacious garden and invites its guests to sample different honey products in a setting typical of the Veneto plain.

Each bedroom in the guesthouse offers every comfort including an en-suite bathroom with shower, air conditioning on request, telephone and internet connection on request, satellite TV. Every morning guests can enjoy a full buffet breakfast beside the fireplace or outside in the garden.

The Honey House is an ideal base to visit other 'art' cities and your friendly hosts will be happy to give advice about local sights and places to visit such as Treviso (20km) and Padua (30km). If you're looking for sunny beaches, head to Jesolo (30km) while if its culture you want, you can visit the nearby Roman archaeological site of Altino (3km). In 5th century AD, Altino is where barbarian invaders caused the inhabitants to flee to the marshy lagoon, where they founded Venice.

From The Honey House you can take a 15 minute bus ride to the road terminal of Piazzale Roma. From here you can get around Venice on foot or by waterbus ("vaporetto"). St Mark's Square can be reached directly by waterbus. Marco Polo Airport is only 2 minutes away from The Honey House.

Directions

By car: From Marco Polo Airport take the SS 14 Triestina Road towards Ca' Noghera (Casino).

After 2 km, look for the road sign "Bed & Breakfast" and on the right you'll see the yellow building of the B&B.


By public transport from Marco Polo Airport: Take bus number 15 towards the Ca' Noghera (Casino). After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop before the terminus (Capolinea). On the right, you'll see a yellow building of the B&B.

From the train station:
The easiest train station to find us from is Mestre.

From Venice Station: (10 minutes from Mestre), take bus number 5 to Marco Polo Airport, then change and take the number 15. After about 5 minutes, get off at the stop before the terminus (Capolinea). On the right, you'll see the yellow building of the B&B.
