Situated in a 17th-century Venetian palace, the Locanda Poste Vecie has a charming, rustic feel. The location is quiet; it's a 20-minute walk to the train station. Both dorms and private rooms are available. A/C costs extra. Payment in cash is required upon arrival.

The hotel is located in the center of Venice, very near to Ponte di Rialto, one of the most important bridges to cross the Grand Canal in Venice and where all the action (shopping & night life) is centered. Great rooms, clean, and very nice host. More like a pension, big house where you rent the rooms and the bathrooms and family rooms are shared, but overall, very nice!
