We're strategically located right in the heart of the city - whether you want to go sightseeing medieval buildings or explore the vibrant clubbing scene of the city...
Located in a historic Hanzeatic old town, a mere 7 minutes stroll from the bus/train stations. A 24 hour reception (no curfew!) and all fresh linen/ bedding is provided. A place for today's traveller to meet other backpackers or locals.
The hostel has been purpose-built into a renovated 5-storey historical building and has 42 beds, 36 beds are available in mixed dorms with shower and toilet in each room, and there is a 6-bed room with an ensuite bathroom (which could be used as a triple or double on demand).
Two floors of the 5-storey building (almost half of the premises!) are dedicated to easy, friendly interaction with a bar at street level and a fully-equipped self-catering kitchen in the basement. We also offer free tea and coffee, free internet access and in the evenings we watch DVD movies free of charge. A sauna is available for a small additional charge. Instead of being an 'overnight factory' we tried to design a place for travellers to meet, discuss previous travels and plan new ones.

The private rooms are in a seperate apartment a building away from the main hostel. They have their own shower, bathroom and kitchen.

You are welcome to book Raina rooms. They are in a newly renovated apartment located three blocks (five minutes walk) from our Valnu street hostel.
