We are pleased to announce that we have moved to a new house in the centrum, the heart of both old and modern Amsterdam. Our new house lies between four of Amsterdam's most beautiful and enchanting canals and just a short walk from Central Station. The Blauwburgwal, Singel, Brouwersgracht, and the Herengracht. We will still offer our charming Jack Russell, Pug, Boxer and Dalmatian rooms but with additional luxuries--- the addition of en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning!

De Langestraat is just steps from the very popular Jordaan quarter famous for its many restaurants, cafes, galleries and shops and the famous shopping street Haarlemmstraat ( Soho area). De Langestraat is one of the must see streets in Amsterdam due to the fact of its enchanting, untouched architecture.

All of Amsterdam's most visited attractions are easily accessible by foot or by public transportation. The Anne Frank House, Westerkerk, Noorderkerk, Dam Square and Queen's Palace are all within a few minutes walk. The Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Leidseplein, Red-light district and Flower Market are all easily reached on foot or by tram. Tram and bus lines are located just a short walk down the street from Boogaard's and Sophia's. You can also enjoy a boat trip on Amsterdam's famous canals close by.

In Boogaard's Bed and Breakfast the Pug and Jack Russell Rooms are located on the second floor with access to their shared living room. Your sumptuous breakfast will be served by your host in the dining room.

At Sophia's Bed and Breakfast the Boxer and Dalmatian rooms are located on the first floor and offer a unique possibility for certain guests who would like to enjoy the freedom of preparing their own meals. These rooms are self catering and have access to a fully equipped kitchen stocked with essential breakfast foods. They also share a living room between them.

The breakfast consists of various cheeses, cold cuts, fresh fruits, yogurts, cereals, fresh breads, pancakes, coffee and tea. Coffee and tea with biscuits can be served in your room after a long day of sightseeing. Other tourist information is available from 9:00AM. While all the rooms are non-smoking, smoking is allowed outside the on the small terrace. All bathrooms are en-suite and are fully equipped with all necessary toiletries.

All of our rooms are complete with a Queen Size beds (160 X 200), leather chairs, color TV with DVDs, internet connection (Wireless LAN), telephone, hairdryer, towels and for your convenience, bathrobes. The rooms are filled with art work from local and American artists and can be purchased. We have over six hundred DVD's available for your viewing pleasure.

BATHROOM AMENITIES: All bathrooms have heated towel racks, extra towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and hand cream.

HOUSEKEEPING: Housekeeping comes daily to make up your room, brings you fresh towels and cleans the bathroom.

AIRCONDITIONING: Available for all rooms in Boogaard's and Sophia's B&B.
