Directions

From the main railway and bus station:

Take tram no. 10 from the stop opposite to "Europejski" hotel and go 7 stops (get off at the stop labeled "Smolki") then go down the main street, about 100 m and take the first turning to the right.
Alternative:
Take bus no. 179 and get off at the 11th stop called "Rondo Matecznego". Cross the street and walk into Kalwaryjska (it is being renovated at present). Take the first turning to the left into Sliska.

From the International Airport Krakow - Balice:
Take bus no. 192 from the airport, get off at the bus stop "Cracovia", then go to the bus stop next to "Kijow" cinema (the stop is also labelled "Cracovia", but it is at the other side of the Cracovia Hotel), get on the bus no. 164, 144 or 173, and get off at the stop called "Rondo Matecznego" (it's the 5th stop - Matecznegp roundabout).

Information for drivers
From Matecznego Roundabout turn into Konopnickiej Street, take the first turning right by Shell gas station (into
Orawska Street), turn right by Biedronka supermarket into Krasickiego Street, and finally turn left into Sliska Street.

Taking a taxi:
You can also take a taxi form both locations. It is safe and cheap, especially if more than one person take it together. A taxi from the main railway and bus station should be between 12 and 15 PLN (about 3 Euro), and form the airport about 30 PLN (about 7 Euro). Do not take the taxis which are waiting immediately in front of the railway station building, as the taxi drivers take double the price. Call one of the cheapest taxi companies in Krakow called "Barbakan" (phone numbers: free 0-800-400-400, regular (+48)9661, by an SMS: send an SMS "TAXI KR DWORZEC GLOWNY GLOBUS" to the number (+48)7168 and wait in front of the exit from platforms next to the globe monument (this is a very characteristic landmark in the main railway station). If you have any problems communicating with taxi drivers, especially over the price, when you arrive to the hotel someone at the reception desk can help you (you can either ask the taxi driver to come over to the reception desk or, before paying, ask the receptionist for help.)
