Poet's House

Rua do Duque, 39, 1200-159, Lisbon

Property Description

What better way to sleep than right in the heart of the poetic vein of Lisbon, its historical 'bairros' (districts) - Carmo, Chiado, Bairro Alto - so many times sobbed, wept or sang by Luis de Camoes, Bocage, Fernando Pessoa, giving them inspiration, and keeping alive the Portuguese fame of a country of poets.

There are as many famous poets and poems about Lisbon as there are long winding alleys, with their tavernas, feeding its allure, continuing to make Lisbon a unique city.

Between alleys and old streets, the Poet's House is your best way of getting to know the mythical Lisbon.

We invite you to start this discovery in a building full of symbology from the 17th century, completely renewed.

We have a Studio/Apartment with kitchen, living-room, Cable TV, and a king-size bed (plus one extra bed for one more person, if needed) in a common space, with one bathroom.
