From Aberdeen take the A947 to Banff. From there follow the A98 for Inverness, Portsoy is 8 miles beyond Banff. The Hotel is easily located on North High Street just follow the brown tourist sign for the hotel and harbour.

From Inverness take the A96 for Aberdeen. At Fochabers take the A98 for Cullen. Portsoy is 5 miles beyond Cullen, just follow the brown tourists sign for the Boyne Hotel.
