The Budget Backpackers boasts a superb location?just a few steps from the Edinburgh Castle and within short walking distance of the city's nightlife destinations. The hostel is safe?maybe too safe: in addition to 24-security, there is CCTV throughout the property (smile for the camera!). Both private and dorm rooms are available, and free lockers are available. The hostel offers free city tours and pub crawls. No curfew.
