Safe, secure and peaceful accommodation 10 minutes walk from the bus/train station and all city centre attractions.

For the social backpacker we have a spacious lounge with TV, video, dvd player, pool table, and music docking station for all those i-pod fans.

If that is not your cup of tea we have designated quiet areas where you can browse our library or plan your onward journey.

For catering we offer the best of both worlds - feel free to use our generously sized well equiped self catering facilities, or let us do the work for you with our budget cafe selling snacks, meals and breakfasts.

We have a good working relationship with local tour companies. Bus departing from the Hostel dailly (in season) allowing a free transfer to the town centre in the morning. Packages available contact the Hostel Direct for more information.

Directions

By Bus

Come out of Inverness Bus Station and turn left onto Academy Street. Turn left and follow road around the corner. Go past Safeway Supermarket and take the first road on the right (Victoria Drive), and the hostel is halfway up the hill on the left. (20 minute walk)

By Train

Come out of Inverness Train Station and turn left onto Academy Street. Turn left and follow road around the corner. Go past Safeway Supermarket and take the first road on the right (Victoria Drive), and the hostel is halfway up the hill on the left. (20 minute walk)

By Car

From A9 South & North: - Take the B865 into the town centre. Go straight on at the mini roundabout and Victoria Drive is the second road on the left.

From A82: - Follow the road through the town centre. Take the fourth exit at the Shore Street roundabout. Follow this road down Academy Street, round the corner and past Safeway Supermarket. Victoria Drive is first on the right.
