The town borders the rivers Belá and Váh, and is surrounded by mountains from the east, south, west and north: Nízke Tatry, Západné Tatry and Vysoké Tatry. Liptovský Hrádok is rich in numerous cultural and historical sights including the thermal springs which are part of this region.
