Casa Blues is a small guesthouse in the old town of Arcos de la Frontera, on the eastern cliffside, overlooking the Guadalete river valley, the Lake of Arcos and the mountain range of Sierra de Grazalema.
The guesthouse has three quiet, en-suite rooms opening onto a cliffedge balcony with stunning views over the cliff and the surrounding countryside, plus a suite of two bedrooms with shared bathroom on the top floor.

There is a large lounge and breakfast area with panoramic views and also a huge terrace perfect for enjoying a coffee in the morning or relax with a glass of wine in the evening.

NOT suitable for people with cat allergies.

The entrance to the house is in Calle Callejas, 200 hundred meters above the Matrera Gate( the only remaining gateway in the town walls). A short walk up the hill takes you to the many historical sites of the old town and a good selection of traditional restaurants and bars.

Arcos is a perfect location to base yourself when exploring the Cadiz province, within one hour you can be on the beautiful beaches of Costa de la Luz, on a hiking trail in the some of the most amazing natural rezerve areas in Andalucia, discovering ancient roman ruins or visiting famous cities like Seville, Cadiz or Jerez de la Frontera. Arcos is also the start point for the route of the white villages plus lots of nearby leisure activities available: swimming, canoeing, paragliding, horseriding, golfing, sailing, wakeboarding and waterskiing.

At Casa Blues you can relax and admire the beautiful andalusian countryside, read your book or just chill out in a friendly atmosphere with great various music selection on the background.

Directions

Arcos de la Frontera is situated in the western part of Andalucia, in Cádiz province. Driving on the A-382 take Exit Arcos Oeste.
The nearest airport is 30 minutes drive away in Jerez de la Frontera. Seville airport is 75 minutes away and Malaga airport approximately 2 hours.
Cars can be rented from the airport. Cheap deals can be found online by
booking in advance.
We offer a pick up service from Jerez airport at a cost of 25 euros, maximum 4 passengers.
There are regular bus connections to Jerez, Cádiz and Ronda;
twice a day connection to Seville.

If travelling by bus we will pick you up for free at arrival at the bus station in Arcos.( please let us know in advance and confirm your estimated time of arrival, CALL ON ARRIVAL AT ARCOS BUS STATION,( to avoid waiting because of bus delays, etc). Walking from the station takes about 25 min, going up in the Old Town and then following the sign 'Salida'. There is also a microbus every 30 min from the bus station LINEA CENTRO, which takes you right to our house, Callejas bus stop.

By car, after entering Arcos de la Frontera, it is better to follow the road straight down (CA-5221), around the bottom of the cliff (rather than turning left into the centre of the town to avoid difficult driving through very narrow streets). Cross left over the river and at the T junction turn left, then at the mini roundabout turn left again up the hill towards Matrera Arch. There are parking spaces on both sides of the road. Casa Blues is a short walk beyond the arch, on the right hand side lane.
