The Property Numancia is located in the historical centre of Madrid near Puerta del Sol.

Hostal Numancia has double, twin, triple and single rooms all renovated with hardwood floors to make them as comfortable as possible.
We are located in a historic building, less than 10 minutes walk from Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum, Thyssen Museum, Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor and other attractions.

The best of Madrid as regards cinemas, theatres, restaurants, bars, pubs (area of Huertas Street and Santa Ana Square), discos, nightclubs, and shopping streets is in the area. You may enjoy the well-known Madrid nightlife without going far from the Hostal.

The Hostal is also quite close to the Rastro, a flea market (with old and new goods) running on Sundays in numerous streets.

The staff speak English, German, and more.....

Directions

We are less than 10 minutes walk from Atocha train station and 5 minutes walk from Puerta del Sol.

Underground Line 1 (blue) and get off at station Tirso de Molina, it is just 20 meters from there.

Getting to the Hostal from the Airport :
In Aeropuerto metro station get the pink line no. 8 towards 'Nuevos Ministerios'.
Get off at 'Mar de Cristal' and get line no. 4 towards 'Arguelles' and get off in 'Bilbao'.
In 'Bilbao' get the light blue line no. 1 towards 'Valdecarros' and get off at the stop called 'Tirso de Molina' (only 3 stops), that is our stop.
Get out by the exit 'Calle Magdalena' (the name of our street) and go towards Apolo Theatre, walk straight and the Hostal is at no. 8 of the street (5th floor, there is a lift).
