Property Description

The Cortijo La Reina Hotel is placed in a ranch of 150.000 m2 in the Natural Park of Malaga Mountains,in a garden full of very old trees.

It's remarkable situation, 800m. high, makes possible to enjoy beautiful views to the sea and the valley. Close to the hotel are Colmenar, Archidona, Casabermeja and other villages in the Montes de Malaga region.

Many golf courses are also in the region. The landscape has several pathways to walk around and enjoy nature. Besides olives, pines, almond trees and holms oaks, there is a wide variety of fruit trees: orange, grapefruit and kiwi trees, avocados and so on, up to a total of 27 species. Likewise, there is a wide variety of bird species that live in the land: sparrows, chaffinches, woodpeckers, goldfinches, eagles ans sparrow hawks, among others.

All the rooms are decorated differently mantaining the old Cortijo style. The common areas are well-equipped for our guests to feel comfortable.

Cancellation policy: for cancellations received within 48 hours before arrival, the Hotel may charge 1st night amount as well as no shows.

Directions

From the airport:
Going direction Malaga-Motril along the motorway 340. When you arrive in Malaga continue towards Motril and take the exit marked P. de Sancha-Limonar at Km 244. When you reach the first crossroad, turn left, pass underneath the motorway and turn left again towards Ronda-Malaga-Algeciras.

When you rejoin the motorway, leave it at the next exit (Km 243, Fuentes Olletas-Ciudad Jardin). Follow this road which goes downhill and passes through the Monte Dorado Tunnel. Continue for 200 meters and then take the left hand lane as far as the Lidl Supermarket. Opposite the entrance to the supermarket, turn left and continues along this street (Escritor Antonio Ramos) until joining the Malaga-Colmenar road.

Turn left and follow this road for approximately 12 Km. after going through two tunnels you will arrive at the roadside restaurant Venta El Detalle (km 548-549). Leave the road and continue along an unpaved track until you reach the Cortijo La Reina Hotel.
