A new concept of guesthouse where everything is shared, even the prices are the same for everybody.
Family run guesthouse like a small hostel, close to the Bus and Train Station and 1 minute walking from the beach.
We have three Floors. Ground Floor is a huge dorm divided in two where are the 7 beds dorm and the 2 beds dorm, both dorms share entrance, corridor, small patio and bathroom. (people really like it).

First floor is the communal floor with another bathroom,fully equipped kitchen,hall,outside terrace,tv, free internet,and music if you fancy.

Second floor is the female floor; Divided in two like in the ground floor, you can choose to stay in the four beds dorm(bunk beds) or in the two beds dorm(both with terrace).The bathroom is shared just for 6 people.

As we know the travellers need to stay in cheap places, we always try to do our best with prices.
As everybody in the house share everything, we think everybody should pay the same, so if you want a little bit more of intimacy be fast booking...

Our guesthouse is the perfect place to discover the city of Malaga (Cathedral,Arabic Castle, Picasso's Museum, etc.), to enjoy the fantastic night life and to rest on the beach.


Our Hostel is Situated closer to the famous resort and beach of Torremolinos, than any other Hostel in Malaga, only 20 minutes on a Bus, and the Bus is only costs 1.25 Euros.

We are located 100 metres from Huelinīs market(Mercado de Huelin), one of the biggest fresh market in Malaga,where you can buy fresh food cheaper than in any other place, and 30 metres from a big Supermarket (supersol).

Granada is just one an a half hour from Malaga by Bus, and the Bus is so often,but remember, if you want to visit the Alhambra, you will need to buy the tickets some days in advance at www.alhambra.org.

We are located 15 minutes walking distance from Bus and Train Station, and is the easiest and closest Hostel to get from airport.
Perfect place to discover the beautiful Malagaīs villages; Nerja with one of the most famous caves in Europe and fantastic natural beach is just one hour from Malaga, Torremolinos 20 minutes by train or bus; Ronda the city with the incredible Tajo(cliff) is also just to 1h 45 min; The cozy city of Marbella is 45 min from here by bus.

We have everything you may need, just ask for it to our helpful staff, and do not worry about anything.

Breakfast is not included.

How to get to Sol Backpacker:

From the airport: take bus number 19, mercado de Huelin- La Hoz bus stop. From there walk in the bus direction and take calle garceran down the sea, Ferraz is an alley between Pepsi Bar Juben and Centro Veterinario Huelin. on the left.(there are 2 Pepsi Bar at calle Garceran, it is not the first close to calle La Hoz, but the second close to the beach).
From the Train and Bus Station Station, take the bus number 1, 3, 16, 19, from Heroe de Sostoa, which is adjacent to the Bus and Train Stations. Heroe de Sostoa is a one way Street, therefore, there is only one Bus Stop. Get off at Obras Publicas Bus Stop(in front of Lidl Shop), which is just a few stops.
When you are there go to the left and look for calle la caramba(between Bazar Africa and Modessa) From there go Straight up Calle Caramba, and you will see that it turns to the left. Do not continue left, stay straight onto the the narrow alleyway in front of you.Take this to the main street, Calle la Hoz, and make a right on calle La Hoz. walk 50m. till Calle garceran(between Modas Maria and Bar Dominguez) donīt leave Garceran till you see Pepsi Bar Juben.Ferraz is between Pepsi Bar Juben and Centro Veterinario Huelin, on the left. (It is not the first Pepsi Bar, but the second close to the beach.
We are in calle Ferraz Number 11, 100 metres from the beach.
If you have some problem ask for Mercado de Huelin (Huelinīs Market), when you are there calle garceran(the second to the right in the cars direction from Bus stop) down the sea, Donīt ask for calle ferraz is a small alley. Ask for Garceran and go down the sea, donīt leave Garceran till you see Pepsi Bar Juben in Garceran street, Ferraz is an alley between Pepsi Bar Juben and Centro Veterinario Huelin, on the left.

If you decide to take a taxi from Bus or Train Station, which will only cost about 5 Euros, the Driver will most likely not know where ferraz is, so tell him to head for Mercado de huelin, and them go down Calle Garceran to number 7. Ferraz is between Pepsi Bar Juben and Centro Veterinario Huelin.

You can also Walk(15 min) from Bus and Train Station, Head west on Calle Cuarteles(the street in front the train Station) and keep going until the street turns into Heroes de Sostoa. Then make a left onto Calle caramba(in front the lidl shop,between Bazar Africa and Modessa). From there go Straight up Calle Caramba, and you will see that it turns to the left.
