Sandvik is an old manor estate in the pretty hamlet of Ripsa, about 25 km from Nyköping, close to Ryanair's Nordic hub at Skavsta airport. Stockholm is about 100km away with good motorway access.
The estate today has several houses, a large barn, and with private land fronting Lake Båven, noted for its clean water and many islands. Guests at the Old Stable may use the private jetty and canoe and row boat.

The Old barn is a luxury new conversion of very high standard, and comprises a 150sqm apartment on two levels, with four bedrooms and 8/9 beds. All rooms have good views and are light and airy. TV/DVD.
The whole flat may be rented or rooms can be rented seperately. Modern fully tiled bathroom and kitchen. Access to laundry facilities. Outside deck area.

Directions

From Nyköping take the road 53 in the direction of Eskilstuna. After 10km turn right in the village of Råby to Ripsa. After16kmturn right again where signposted Ripsa. The hamlet of Ripsa comes into view after 5km, turn left onto a dirt road before the grey house on the left. If you pass the Ripsa church you gone 400m too far. Proceed up the road and bear to the right passing the large barn. The yellow Old Stable is clearly visible after the pond. Parking is outside the building.
