Welcome to Hi Hostel Zinkensdamm!

Hi Hostel Zinkensdamm is located in the south part of Stockholm city. An area called Södermalm, wellknown for all its bars, restaurants, theatres, galleries and lively atmosphere.

We have total 150 rooms, some with shower and WC inside the room and some of them with shower and WC in the hallway.

We have a newly renovated guest kitchen, Internet corner, laundry facilities, bike rental, sauna and sun beds.

It is easy to get here; only 4 stops on the underground from the city terminal. For guests with cars we have our own indoor garage.

Please visit our bar; Zinkadus Bar & Café for a drink or a good meal. Or enjoy a relaxing afternoon in our sauna with relax room and sun beds.

Bed linen and towel are available for rent.

PLEASE NOTE: Zinkensdamm Youth Hostel is a IYHF-hostel. All prices are for IYHF-members.
Non members will be charged an additional fee of 50 SEK per night.

Directions

By underground / T-bana
Take the red line southward towards Fruängen or Norsborg. Get off at station Zinkensdamm. Walk Hornsgatan to 103 and walk down the stairs. Walk straight ahead in between the apartment buildings. And you will find us on the left hand side. By car
Driving from south on E4 and E20:
Take exit towards Södermalm. Turn right after the Liljeholm bridge (sign-posted Skanstull) You are now on Hornsgatan, after approximately 1 km, turn right on Ringvägen. Take second road to the right, just after the sports ground. Keep on going Zinkens väg until you reach the end of the street.

Driving from north on E4, E20 or E18:
Keep on going the E4 southwards around the city centre. Take exit towards Liljeholmen. Follow the signposts towards Södermalm. Then follow the directions above. If you want to drive through the city centre, go through S:t Eriksplan, Fridhemsplan and then Södermalm.

Driving from the city Nynäshamn on road 73:
Drive towards Södermalm. After the Skanstull bridge, cross the big street called Ringvägen and take the first street to the right round the block. Having reached Ringvägen again take to the right and keep on going for 1,5 km. Turn left on Zinkens väg.
Local transport bus / train
None of the buses that run along Hornsgatan goes to the city centre. The underground is better for this purpose. Bus no. 4 has one of its stops on Hornsgatan and it's called 'Varvsgatan'.
The commuter trains stop at 'Södra Station'. To get there, you can either walk or take bus no. 4. Stockholm International Fair in Älvsjö is just one stop away from 'Södra Station'.
