About Waldhotel-Unspunnen

The Waldhotel Unspunnen is a 2 star family run hotel with a cosy atmosphere.

The hotel is split into two sections - the Chalet for students and groups and the Hotel section.

Chalet Section
This part of the hotel is more suited to students and groups. It consists of 19 bedrooms (2-4 beds) with running hot and cold water and a shower and toilet down the hall. It has a very relaxed and easy going atmosphere.

Hotel Section
The hotel is a 2-star rated 'hôtellerie-suisse'. It has 29 bedrooms with shower/toilet.

The Waldhotel-Unspunnen is nestled in the hamlet of Unspunnen, on the quicker way between Interlaken and Wilderswil about 15 minutes walk from both railway station Interlaken-West (starting place for the lacs and the flatlands) and the railway station Wilderswil (starting place for the whole Eiger-Mönch and Jungfrau-region). Of course there are also cabs at Interlaken-West station to bring you to our home which should take about 5 minutes driving.

If you are interested to go to Jungfrau (Top of Europe) or to the famous Schilthorn (James Bond's revolving restaurant) your station is Wilderswil.
