Hotel Bristol is a friendly hotel which is located 5 minutes walk from the main train station and Bahnhofstrasse from where many of the excursions depart.

All rooms are recently renovated and have direct dial telephone, radio, cable TV and modem connection. There are single, double and triple rooms available which are all clean and comfortable.Children over 2 and less than 12 will be charged Sfr. 30.- per head. Sfr.40.-per head. for any extra person.

Hairdryers and safes are available at reception and there is also a babysitting service available.

This traditional hotel offers a peaceful and personal atmosphere and welcomes guest from all over the world.

From 01.01.07 onward we have a new City tax here in Zurich which will be 2.50 Sfr per person per day

Between 15 November 2007 to 30th May 2008, part of our building will undergo
renovation. This portion is separated from to the current accommodation facilities. Apart from some construction noise during the working hours 08.00 to 18.00, normal hotel operation will not be affected.

Directions

When you arrive at Zurich's main train station:
Exit the station near platform 17,turn right and cross the Walche-Brücke. You will see a passage through a building 50m ahead. Go through the passage and turn left into Stampfenbachstrasse. The Hotel Bristol, 34 Stampfenbachstrasse, is on the right hand side of the street.

The airport shuttle bus runs between the airport and the hotel from 06.30 to 23.00.

There is also a train from the airport to Zürich Hauptbahnhof (Zürich Main Station) every 20 minutes.

By Car:
Via Basel / Bern
On the motorway follow signs to Zürich, then city centre until you reach Zürich Hauptbahnhof (main station). Turn right to drive around the station (staying in right-hand lane). On the other side of the station, get into the left lane and turn left at the next junction (you will double back on yourself by 180 degree and will now have the Hotel Schweizerhof on your right). Get into the right-hand lane and drive straight on across the bridge, After the bridge go to the right to drive around the tram platforms always staying in the left-hand lane. Turn right by the Hotel Central Plaza (signed Hotel Bristol) and the hotel is on your right, 200 metres up the street.

Zürich Airport
On the motorway follow signs for Zürich, then Transit Zürich City, through the long tunnel. At the end of the tunnel (also end of the motorway), turn left and remain in the right-hand lane.Stay on the right as you drive past the Hotel Mariott and along the river. Go straight across the square at the first set of traffic lights then get into the left-hand lane (signed Hotel Bristol). After 50 metres, turn left again and the hotel is on your right, 200 metres up the street.
